SY- LAB Geräte GmbH is a highly innovative, privately held company with a strong international focus and more than 45 years of experience in manufacturing of analytical instruments. The main business areas covered are the production and distribution of:
- microbiological instrumentation and the specific
- culture media and reagents as well as
- rapid biomolecular test systems
for the examination of foods, feeds, pharmaceutical products, toiletries and cosmetics.
The devices are used worldwide by renowned international companies, governmental control and private service laboratories.
The second important business area is manufacturing of computer controlled liquid nitrogen freezers for cryobiological and medical applications. The SY-LAB freezers are used for specific applications at renowned international hospitals as well as in research and in reproductive medicine and are registered medical devices.
All instruments manufactured by SY-LAB are derived from proprietary and specific technologies that originate from the in-house R&D department. The quality Management System is certified by MDC medical device certification GmbH. according to the standards ISO 13485, ISO 9001 and the MDD (medical device directive) 93/42/EWG as well as the EU medical device regulation MDR 2017/745. The products are distributed worldwide in more than 30 countries.
