Computer-controlled Freezers (Slow Rate Freezing)

Select the most appropriate model for your lab: Both IceCube machines 14M and 14S can be delivered with a space saving touch monitor (Series B) or with a classical keyboard and monitor (Series A). The “touch” saves bench space and has a more intuitive and direct operation.

Simple Configuration: Define required chamber size and chamber furniture, select a supply vessel volume according to operational requirements, add necessary attachments for the basic instrument, check PC capabilities for a stand alone or LAN solution.

The latest Series 14 IceCube Controlled Rate Freezers are available in 2 sizes and 3 models.
The instruments are of compact design and require a minimal bench area. Please download the catalogue for more details.
The following keywords will acquaint you with the advantages of the IceCube Series 14 instruments.

Automatic Operation: After filling the chamber the user retrieves the desired program from the library and loads it into the memory, then opens the LIN 1) supply and starts the run.

Precise Process: The freezing program runs automatically and passes through the operation parameters. It stops at the end with an alarm. The temperature curve is permanently displayed on the monitor; possible temperature deviations are registered and documented.
The display scale can be adjusted for the highest resolution to allow precise control of demand and sample temperature profiles.

Reliability: The self contained internal RISC processor controls the freezing process even should the PC malfunction. A UPS device protects the machine from power failure. Should a mains failure occur, the program can decide whether it makes sense to continue the current run or to shut down.

Chamber furniture: A large selection of racks and sample holders allow effective circulation of the cooling medium. Automatic and manual seeding devices handle delicate cell material to ensure optimum viability. A top loading chamber protects samples during unloading from temperature shock. The transparent lid allows viewing into the chamber to observe ice development (depending on the sample container ). The lid is hinged and equipped with a safety switch.
